Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These terms apply when you rent a Minecraft server from Cheapest Minecraft Hosting. You agree to them when you order, so please read them first, and ask us if anything is unclear.
Terms
1. Who we are
Cheapest Minecraft Hosting is part of Astroworld hosting. The service is provided by Astroworld MC, registered in the Netherlands with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42085812, VAT number NL005484384B37. In these terms "we" and "us" means that company, and "you" means the person or business that holds the account.
You reach us at [email protected] or in the chat on this site. We answer 24/7 for technical questions, and every day from 07:00 to 23:00 CET for billing questions.
2. What you get
We rent out Minecraft servers. Each server runs in the location you chose: in Poland on a machine with an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, DDR5 memory and NVMe storage, in Germany on a machine with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, ECC DDR4 memory and NVMe storage. You get the amount of memory you ordered and the storage that comes with it. The processor is shared with the other servers on the same machine.
You manage your server in your browser, in our control panel: console, files, plugins, players, settings and backups. We do not give shell access to the machine underneath, because other customers' servers run on it too.
Every server has one backup slot that you fill yourself. Automatic backups are an optional extra you can add when you order.
3. Your account
The details you supplied must be true, and you keep them up to date, because your invoices and the VAT on them are based on them. The account owner is the customer under these terms. Anything done with your login counts as done by you, so keep it to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it. We recommend turning on two-factor login.
If you are under 16, a parent or guardian places the order and is the customer.
Everyone with an account receives emails from us with tips, offers and news about our own hosting. This comes with having an account, and we tell you about it when you sign up. You can turn these emails off at any time in your account, for the whole account on the email preferences page or per server on the page of that server, and with the link at the bottom of every one of them. Emails we need to provide the service, such as those about your account, orders, payments and servers, are not affected. Section 4 of our privacy policy says what we keep for this. For accounts made before 6 November 2026 this applies from 30 days after we emailed them about it.
4. Ordering and delivery
The price you see before you pay is the price you pay, including VAT. A business in another EU country with a confirmed VAT number is invoiced without VAT, under the reverse charge. The agreement starts when your first payment succeeds.
Most servers are set up automatically and are ready to launch within seconds of payment. When a server has to be set up by hand, it is ready within 12 hours of payment. We email you when it is ready. If we cannot deliver your server at all, you get your payment back in full.
5. Payment and renewal
You choose 1, 6, 12 or 24 months. A longer term costs less per month: 10% off the monthly price on 6 months, 15% on 12 months and 20% on 24 months. A monthly plan renews every month with the payment method you saved, until you cancel it. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Requirements field. When you order you can describe what you want set up on your server. On plans from €6 a month the first 50 characters are free. Every further 10 characters, or part of them, cost €0.35, and on smaller plans that applies from the first character. This amount is charged once, on the first payment, and the order page shows it before you pay.
6, 12 or 24 months fixed, paid monthly. If you choose 6, 12 or 24 months, your plan has a fixed term of that many months that you pay month by month, at the price of that term. You can cancel at any time, but the cancellation takes effect at the end of the fixed term at the earliest (month 6, 12 or 24), and the monthly payments until then are due. After the fixed term it continues month to month at the same monthly price, and from then on you can cancel for the end of any month.
Terms paid at once before 18 October 2026. A term of 12 or 24 months ordered before 18 October 2026 was paid at once for the whole term. When it ends, your plan does not renew for another full term: it continues month to month at the monthly amount of that term, and from then on you can cancel for the end of any month.
If a renewal fails, we try again over the following days and your server keeps running meanwhile. If it still cannot be paid, the server is suspended. Pay the open invoice within 14 days and it comes back as it was.
We may change prices for future terms. We tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before the new price applies. A term you have already paid for never changes in price.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the client area: open your server and click Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your server keeps running until the end of the term you paid for. On 6 months fixed, a cancellation during the first six months takes effect at the end of month 6.
After that the server is suspended and its files are kept for 14 days, so you can change your mind and reactivate it. For questions about your files, contact support within those 14 days. After those 14 days the server and its files are deleted for good.
7. Refunds
Hosting is a digital service. Delivery starts straight after payment, and hosting is not refunded. When you cancel during a term, the rest of that term is not refunded and the server stays yours until the term ends.
8. Your server and your files
What you put on your server is yours, and so is the responsibility for it: the worlds, plugins, mods, the players you let in and what they do there. You follow our Acceptable Use Policy and the Minecraft End User License Agreement and Usage Guidelines of Mojang.
We do not look through your files. We do when you ask us for help, when a machine has a problem that we need to trace, or when we have a concrete reason to think the rules or the law are being broken.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Your backup slot and any automatic backups are a safety net, not a promise that data can never be lost.
9. Availability and maintenance
We work to keep your server running and reachable, and we act on problems as soon as we see them. Now and then a machine needs a restart or a server has to move for maintenance. We keep that short and, where we can, announce it and plan it outside busy hours.
Some causes are outside our control, such as an attack on the network, a fault at the data centre or a problem in the game itself. We do not promise that a server is never offline.
10. Suspension and ending the agreement
We may suspend or remove a server that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts other customers or our machines at risk, or that is not paid for. Where that is reasonable we warn you first and give you time to put it right. In serious cases, such as attacks on others or clearly illegal content, we act at once and tell you afterwards.
We may also end the agreement with 30 days' notice. In that case you get back what you paid for the part of the term you will not receive.
11. Refer a friend
The client area has a referral programme. What you can earn, and when, is shown there before you apply. We read every application and may refuse it or end it later. Referrals of yourself or your own household, and referrals gained through spam, misleading claims or other abuse, do not count.
11a. Invite friends with Copilot credits
Every customer can share a personal invite link from the control panel. An account made through that link starts with 45,000 Copilot credits instead of the usual starting credits, and once that friend's first payment for a server has gone through, you receive 50,000 Copilot credits. A payment that is still on its way, such as a bank debit, counts when it has cleared.
Copilot credits only work for the Copilot. They have no cash value and cannot be paid out, moved to someone else or exchanged, and they are separate from the referral programme in section 11. When a friend arrives through both an invite link and a referral link, only the referral link counts.
Inviting yourself does not count, and neither does an account that shares your email address, payment details or device. Rewarded invites per account per month are limited; above that limit, and when the monthly budget of the programme is used up, the credits arrive on the first day of the next month. We look at invites that seem unusual before credits are added, and we may hold back or take back credits gained through misuse. We may change or end this programme; credits already in your balance stay there.
12. Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in the three months before the damage occurred. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income, lost players or lost worlds, or for damage caused by software you or your players installed.
These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We announce a change that affects you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before that date if you do not accept it. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
14. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. If we cannot solve a problem together, it goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in, and you may also go to the court there.
15. Minecraft
Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. We rent out servers to play the game on; we do not sell the game itself.
