Minecraft server hosting FAQ
What a server includes, what it costs and how it works. Stuck on something specific? The help centre has step by step guides.
General
What comes with a server?
The memory you choose, from 2 to 128 GB of DDR5, and NVMe storage of 5 GB for each GB of memory, up to 200 GB. You also get vCPU that grows with the plan, one backup, and the control panel with a console, a file manager and installers for plugins, mods and modpacks.
Where do the servers run?
In Poland, on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with DDR5 memory and NVMe storage. Poland sits in the middle of Europe, so the route from most European countries to your world is a short one.
Java, Bedrock or both?
All three are possible. Pick Java, Bedrock or Crossplay when you configure your server. Crossplay runs Paper with Geyser, so players on phones, consoles and Windows can join a Java world; Java and Bedrock crossplay explains how it works.
When can I reach support?
Every day from 07:00 to 23:00 Central European Time, by live chat, by a support ticket from your account, or by email at [email protected]. Most answers are already in the help centre.
Billing
How is the price worked out?
You pay €0.89 per GB of memory a month, so the 2 GB plan costs €1.78 a month and 128 GB costs €113.92. Extras are optional: €1.00 for each vCPU above what your plan brings, €0.20 for every 10 GB of extra storage, and €1.99 for automatic backups.
Is it cheaper to pay for a longer period?
No. You can pay for 1, 6, 12 or 24 months at once, and the price per month is the same for each. Longer terms only save you the renewals in between.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. When your players or your modpack need more, move up to more memory; your world stays as it is. How much RAM a Minecraft server needs shows the signs that it is time.
Technical
Which Minecraft versions can I run?
Java from 1.8.9 up to 26.3, the newest release, which for now runs on Vanilla and Fabric. Which older versions you can pick depends on the server software you choose. Bedrock and Crossplay run the newest version, because Bedrock players update automatically. Which Java version your server needs covers the Java side of old and new versions.
Can I bring my own world?
Yes. Upload a world or a whole server from another host as a zip in the Files tab, paste a download link so the server fetches it itself, or use SFTP for big worlds. Move your world to our server goes through both routes.
How do backups work?
One backup is included: make it in the Backups tab before a big change, and restore it from there if something goes wrong. Automatic backups, made for you on a schedule, are an extra of €1.99 a month.
What hardware do the servers use?
An AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor, DDR5 memory and NVMe SSD storage. The 7950X boosts up to 5.7 GHz, and fast cores are what keep the ticks of a Minecraft world on time. The home page explains what each part does for your world.
