  • Pre-generate the land around spawn in the World tab. Large structures make new terrain expensive.
  • Dragons from Ice and Fire can grief builds. Check the mod's server config if your group wants dragon griefing off.
  • Give each MineColonies town room. Colonies close together keep each other's chunks loaded.

How to install Medieval MC on your server

  1. Order a Forge server below. Any Minecraft version is fine; the installer sets 1.20.1.
  2. In the control panel, open the Mods tab and go to CurseForge and FTB packs.
  3. Search for Medieval MC, pick the version and click Install this pack.
  4. Start the server in the Console tab. The first start of Medieval MC takes a few minutes; wait for Done.
  5. Players install the same Medieval MC version in their launcher and join with the server address.
